Up for sale is an excellent sounding portable 1970's Studer 169 Recording console with 10 mic/line channels, and 2 busses with nice sounding built-in limiters. The Studer 169 consoles are one of the best values in vintage audio with a fully discrete preamp section, a nice sounding and very useful 3 band EQ, and transformer balanced I/O. This console is in excellent condition and is being fully restored with new electrolytic capacitors, new precision channel trim resistors, fully cleaned, channels matched for gain, and tested with Audio Precision test equipment. As part of the sale the insert jack can be wired for direct outs or left stock as channel inserts depending on your needs. Overall the console is very clean with the exception of some scratches on the wood sides and the left meter plastic bezel is imperfect (see photos). The console comes with its original cover so that it can fold up neatly into a small suitcase.
